Meet Our Board

Daisy McCoy, PhD is our Chair. She has been involved with KCS in a number of different capacities for much of the time since its inception in the 1990s. She was instrumental in starting the Saturday Meal Site at the Universalist Unitarian Congregation, and continues to coordinate the lunch. She has retired from teaching mathematics at Northern Vermont University with a special interest in Mayan mathematics and culture.
Eleanor (Ellie) Dole is our Vice-Chair, and the Food Shelf Manager. She is a native Vermonter and is retired from Civilian Service for the Department of the Air Force. She has volunteered in various capacities most of her life. Ellie started at the KCS Food Shelf in 2004. She has been a KCS board member off and on for many years.
Dianne M Gingue, CPA has been the treasurer for KCS since May of 2019. She is grateful to play a part in the KCS mission to share food and other resources to fulfill the basic needs for all in our community. She is a native Vermonter, and served our country in the US Army. She loves spending time with grandkids, family and friends, especially outdoors! Dianne is a practicing CPA, bookkeeper, and sports official, in addition to being a volunteer for several organizations.
Beth Norris - After serving on the faculty of Lyndon State College for 14 years, Beth has now retired and has become a dedicated volunteer for KCS as recording secretary and at the UCC Meal Site. She lives in Wheelock with her husband, Kris and their sweet dog, Sadie.
Sharon Iverson worked as School Nurse for the St Johnsbury School for 15 years before retiring. She began helping KCS in 2003 by picking up food and delivering it to the Meal Sites. She likes to be of service to those in need, and has been involved with KCS in a variety of ways over the years; helping with the lunches, helping give out the Thanksgiving boxes, and helping at the Food Shelf. She became a board member in 2017. Sharon is the corresponding secretary, and mails the donation letters to all of our donors.
Rhonda Korol, PhD began helping KCS at the Saturday lunch in 2012, as a service project together with her daughter. Her daughter graduated from high school a year later, but Rhonda was hooked on the lively interactions and fun involved in the lunches. She is happy now to have joined the board of KCS in Feb, 2022. A practicing clinical psychologist in St. Johnsbury and a retired professor of psychology and human services, Rhonda is committed to social justice issues such as fighting food insecurity and building stronger connections in our communities.
Ramona (Angel) Letourneau has served as the KCS CoOrdinator for CoOp Christmas since 2000 and in 2022 has stepped back from the role. She became a KCS board member in Feb, 2022. In the 1990s, CoOp Christmas was part of NECKA's Outreach and Ramona CoOrdinated the program there. She is a native Vermonter and has lived in the Northeast Kingdom all her life.
The Rev. Susan-Lynn Johns is minister of the Universalist Unitarian Congregation of St. Johnsbury and First Universalist Parish of Derby Line. She joined KCS in her capacity as minister in 2016, and became a member of the Board shortly thereafter, serving until 2021. She is on the Board now in an advisory capacity.
